The IR Program is very pleased to invite current and former IR students to our annual Alumni Careers Night on Tuesday February 25th 2025.
The event offers the opportunity to learn how IR alumni navigated and explored different career pathways during their professional journey. Alumni panelist will discuss the most valuable experiences they had at UBC, how their IR degree helped enhance their skills and career development, and provide advice and share lessons from their professional life.
The event format will begin with a panel discussion with six alumni, moderated by a current IR major student, followed by an attendee-led Q&A. The night will conclude with a social mixer hour where you can interact and network with the alumni panelists and faculty over a fancy buffet. It will be a fantastic opportunity to bring everyone together for a winter celebration.
The event will be held in the Place of Many Trees room in the Liu Institute and will run from 5:00 – 7:00pm. We will be sharing full biographies of our panelists via Instagram later this month, so look out for that.
This will be a popular event and there are only 100 seats available so please do make sure to put your name down ASAP!
