UBC Journal of International Affairs

We are looking for research papers written on global issues, from across disciplines. In recent years, we have published papers on topics ranging from hybrid tribunals in post-conflict countries and indigenous influence in national policy-formation, to democratization and transnational advocacy.

The Journal of Political Studies

We accept papers written for courses outside Political Science, as well as papers that were not written for course credit, as long as they are sufficiently relevant to political studies.

We encourage undergraduate students, regardless of faculty, who have written papers covering any area of history to submit.

CASIS and CIC Canadian Foreign Policy Essay Competition

The Canadian Association for Security and Intelligence Studies (CASIS), in conjunction with the Canadian International Council (CIC), is very happy to announce their first annual Canadian Foreign Policy Essay Competition. The writer of the winning essay will receive a year-long membership to both the CIC and CASIS while also getting published in a special issue of The Journal of Intelligence, Conflict, and Warfare. Students can submit essays on ANY topic revolving around Canadian foreign policy, or a foreign policy that affects Canada.
